My Love for Music

Music has been a love that I have had for a life time. I have always been around music.
My father always had instruments around the house. My desire is to establish myself financially in my music, but most importantly I want to spread the Gospel through my music.
Being effective in music
I feel there is a great need for musicians to take into consideration of the young people that listen to their music. In my opinion, music is the language of the youth. I am apart of a group by the name of Peculiar Image. We are what I consider to be a good news group that tries to empower and lead people to Christ. We have opened up for some of the biggest names in gospel music. We like to use opportunities like these to give people hope and to inspire them to do greater things in life. To be effective through music is what I would consider success to some degree.
Producing music
Producing music has been something that I have had the privilege of doing for the past 7 years. I began producing because I felt it was not worth paying someone for something I can learn and do my self. My goal was to be one of the great producers in Christian music. I have found being financially successful making music is a difficult task. Through being consistent and remaining faithful, I produced enough albums to be nominated and eventually winning the Texas Holy Hip-Hop Achievement Awards 2007 producer of the year award. Financially, creating music has its ups and downs. I just try to remain optimistic and make music for the love of the art and not the money.

Conclusion
Music is a major part of my life and without it I would feel as if I am not living in my purpose. I thank God for music and the ability that he has given to me. I hope to continue to effect lives and to continue to produce, and record for as long as I can.
